Guest guest
We were told to use Arm and Hammer baking soda toothpaste. Does anyone have any other suggestions? There have to be others out there. Jenn Tasha Catoire wrote: we need the name of a keto-toothpaste.
Guest guest
We were using Toms of Maine Silly Strawberry. The homeopathic doc we're working with cautioned us against flouride. Our dentist says that toothpaste is not really necessary, so we just use a wet toothbrush. The Toms of Maine is really great, though. It's actually what we were using even before the diet.--D __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I have seen this and was going to ask about it. I havent seen the strawberry tho - there were three other flavors I saw. Going to have to try it - I dont really like the Arm and Hammer stuff. Jenn DeEtte Person wrote: We were using Toms of Maine Silly Strawberry. Guest guest
JENN: We use Tom's of Maine toothpaste - the peppermint flavor. It is very strong so you only need a tiny bit!
Guest guest
We use the plain UltraBrite... Tyler never could get use to the taste to Tom's of Maine's -- and we were told to only use the plain kind. We might see if we can try the other flavors.. but he's fine with the UltraBrite. Guest guest
We use ultrabrite, but I have to tone it down because it is too minty for him. He is very sensitive so I use a wash cloth half the time. Dianna heppner1@... wrote: We were told to use Arm and Hammer baking soda toothpaste. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Guest guest
I see Tom's of Maine pretty much all over now. Used to be just in natural food stores. It just doesn't have a lot of the additives that the other toothpastes have. Very environmentally responsible company, etc. Our whole family uses it. It tastes different, so they usually say to give it seven days to get used to it. It's all natural, so doesn't have the flavorings and colorings that we're used to. It's also pretty strong tasting. When I do use it for either girl, I barely put any on their toothbrush at all.--D __________________________________________________
Guest guest
We used Tom's of Maine from the time we started the diet. Lately it seems that h's teeth just looked FUZZY by the end of the day...we brush morning noon and night, and they just looked yucky-- not yellow, just fuzzy looking. I switched about two weeks ago to Arm and Hammer and things have improved a bit. I still am not sure if it was the toothpaste or the things she was eating, but we go to the dentist tomorrow afternoon for a cleaning, hopefully he will have some ideas...OH!! I forgot to tell them about the diet/toothpaste issue!!! I guess I will take some with me just in case they don't have a " clean " toothpaste to use!! Ay-yi-yi...this is a lot to think about today!!!
