My husband has looked into this especially because I'm so sensitive to

chemicals and generally hate buying toxic stuff if it can be avoided. He

found a great wood oil, Osmo brand, which I don't know if it is available in

the U.S. but we have had super success with this brand and feel good about

it. Very little detectable odor during application.
