Guest guest
Hi, I have been taking acyclovir for a few days and the red lesions are fading and less itchy. I decided not to fill the antibiotics at the same time and the pharmacist agreed that I wouldn't know which one was responsible for getting rid of them. I'm anxious to know the results of the blood test for herpes(Tues) because I wonder if time made them go away or fluocinolone cream that I've been applying after a bath. After reading about the different vulvar disorders on the net I thought I might have seborrheic dermatitis and this was recommended. I know I should probably try one remedy at a time but I am so desperate to get rid of this. The next step would be a biopsy and they would have to do new ones because I didn't have this problem when I had the other biopsies. If you go to Yahoo and type in Vulvar Dermatoses 40 web sites will come up-some about vulvodynia, IC, and every problem you could ever wonder about. Being the type of person I am this could be too much information as I always think I have the worst and worry. I am so thankful for this support group for all the helpful tips and the sharing that goes on is great. Guest guest
Kathy, I am glad to hear you are finally getting some relife. You are right about trying one thing at a time though. If you try too many treatments at a time you may not be able to tell which one is responsible for your relife, or which one is responsible if your symptoms get worse. Bunny /| |\ . .
