Guest guest
Dear FORUM, Re: /message/7018 AIDS-afflicted groom arrested for cheating bride- Such issues concern human rights of aspiring spouses, both PLHA and non HIV infects! Does this means that; 1) Whether PLHA should be forced to divulge their AIDS status to all aspiring spouses, 2) Whether non PLHA have the right to know if their prospective spouse is free from HIV infection, 3) Whether present IPC provides for penal remedy for such alleged act, under what provisions have police sent Srihari to the Magistrate? Guest guest
Dear Forum, Re: /message/7018 It was sad that somebody hid his status because he wanted to get married. It was certainly cheating on his part. But should we forget our sanity and become insensitive enough to throw open the person’s identity on an e forum? Media is hungry for glossy news but we as members of this forum MUST not forget our ethics. Let us also realize the fact that the person lied because he knew that otherwise the marriage would not materialize. This is the irony against which we all need to work rather than “exposing” people so mercilessly. I am very much sensitive towards the girl but let us not forget the crisis that the man will NOW face after the “media and e forum exposure”. Lets be with people in their sorrows and happiness let us not be judgemental towards anyone.
