Dear forum,

I am glad to know that Dr. B.B.Rewari taking immediate action through this

e-forum.

I want to inform him the situation in District Head Quarter Hospital, Koraput &

Sub-divisional hospital, Jeypore.

Here also the testing centres facing the same problem. In jeypore the test was

done by two kits and the district headquarter hospital situation is very worse.

They are doing the test with the help of only one kit (combo). The counselrs

facing major problem to tell the patient that we have done only one test and the

result is reactive, you have to come after one month and do the test again.

They are unable to declare the status of the patient. Practically is this can

be done? Is any patient will return after one month for testing only? What is

the situation of the patient during this one month? When I asked the hospital

staff, they answered me that they are repeteadly asking OSACS regarding the

kits. But the situation remains same.

We are telling the patient to visit the testing centre after one month, but we

are not sure that the kits may available after one month.

Just think from the patient view, what is the benefit does he get by test, when

he was getting the result " Indeterminate " .

I request Dr. Rewari to take immediate action in this regard.

REGARDS

SANTOSH
