Greetings from AIDS Healthcare Foundation – India Cares.

To introduce ourselves, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is the largest

non-profit organization for AIDS in the United States. AHF operates 14 medical

clinics, reaching out to over 17,000 patients and conducts annually more than

13,000 HIV tests and counseling sessions.

AHF Pharmacies, specializing in HIV medication provides all prescription needs.

AHF Global program operates Free HIV/AIDS clinics providing AIDS treatment and

care services to over 37,000 clients in 15 countries.

IndiaCares is a registered trust established in 2006 under the aegis of AIDS

Healthcare Foundation as an implementation arm for HIV/AIDS care and treatment

programs in India for PLHAs’. IndiaCares offers comprehensive HIV/AIDS services,

and currently supports ART programs in Mysore, Khustagi and New Delhi. AHF India

Cares ‘Centre of Excellence’ provides cutting edge HIV medical services,

Voluntary Counseling and Testing, outpatient services, Free CD4 testing,

provides ARV drugs, CME for doctors, support groups, outreach, referral

networking, positive living courses, lounge facilities for PLHAs’, recreational

and HBC services.

We are proposing to organize Advocacy March in New Delhi on 24 March 2007. We

invite you to be part of the March sharing the space to echo the voice of the

voiceless. This is an ongoing efforts carried out over a period of time by civil

society organizations including people living with HIV/AIDS at regular intervals

till we achieve the goal of universal access to HIV/AIDS treatment, care and

support services. We request your active participation and/or collaboration for

the March.

We shall communicate further details and theme of the march in consultations

with broader civil society groups and keep you informed of the logistics and

other arrangements -
