There are really no rules. Some people jump into taking 50mg right away

and do just fine. Others find they are better off at lower doses. If you

are sensitive or concerned you might be better off working your way up.

It is different for everyone.

Sould one slowly increase a tiny amount each

I don't know if you got an answer but there really aren't any hard and fast rules on when to increase dosage. It really is a trial and error.

I have a question for the ones who take iodine. While

I am not ruling out any form of healing, I’m confused.

Aren’t you all taking other multiple things, such as

Armour? How do you know that it is the iodine that is

effective, and not the other things you are taking as

well? Have you ever tried to stop the iodine while

remaining on everything else?

Thanks,

I tried iodoral which is iodine/iodide just to see what it would do. It is

powerful stuff--it does a lot! First 3 months I went through a lot of

detoxing--now it makes me feel stronger and I can feel it on the cellular

level. the right dose is very important, I consider 50mg to be the minimum.

yes I tried reducing the iodine to 12.5mg/day and became very ill so went back

to 50mg. I just can't imagine not taking it now. It feels like Armour only

subtler.

First off, yes I am taking a few things, and I was also doing that

when I started Iodoral. After starting Iodoral many nice things

happened that did not happenen while I was not on it. For example, my

fibrocystic breasts completely normalized, some of my hair

repigmented (from gray back to dark brown), most of my age spots went

away, my rosacea cleared, my skin cleared up everywhere, some more of

my missing hair grew back, etc...

Wow, rosacea too? I have that also. Is that related to

hypothyroidism?

I don't know, really. It was just something that happened after I was

on Iodoral for a while. I was putting diluted Lugol's on the spider

veins on my legs and they disappeared, so taking it internally might

have worked on the ones on my face. I still have 2 or 3 little red

veins still on my face, tho. But the majority of them are totally

gone and I no longer have that odd rosy " glow " , just a normal

glow. :)

How long did this take for the veins to disappear?

I think about 2 or 3 months for legs. I only noticed my face when I

actually paid attention but it was probably about the same amount of

time for that, too.

Sam, if you could be so kind as to tell me exactly what you did, when and how, I

think I would like to try it.

For my face I just took 2 Iodoral pills twice a day along with 4

grams of vitamin C. I guess that was enough for " iodine nanobots "

<grin> (that's what i call them - iodolipids or whatever they are

called) to be formed so they could heal stuff. They say (whomever

they are) that the healing starts frmo the inside out, so I was

patient. I just thought it would be cool if my skin got all healed

eventually...didn't think anything about my face (I used to cover

that up with GROSS face powder and I totally hate wearing make-up).

But for my legs someone, I think in the iodine group, mentioned

something about painting the spider veins on her legs and watching

those little buggers scurry away (jokingly), so I did that as well...

I had some 5% Lugol's so I put a few drops in a bottle cap along with

a few drops of distilled water and then took a toothpick and sort of

traced my spider veins with it. After a while it got a little

maddening so I used a little sea sponge (from the artist supply

place, 'cause it was little and handy) instead of the

toothpick/paintbrush. I'd just kind of do it while I was working

online as an afterthought. Then one day I was cranking my head around

to look at the worst bundle of spider veins I had (behind my knee and

on the top part of my calf) so I could put some face makeup on them

to hide them because I was having to wear stockings and a creepy

skirt out in public (I am normally jeans and t-shirt all the way),

and they were totally gone. Woo Hoo!

Right now I'm trying it on those little red dots that sometimes

appear on my skin. They look like teeny weeny little dinky freckles,

but they are not. And I gogled them and they are absolutely nothing

to be concerned over. So we'll see what Lugol's does for those little

things...probably won't do a thing for them, tho.

Ok, I gotta get back to work... :)

I use sea salt, they all say there is no iodine in it, but is it that they mean

there is no added iodine? It's hard to believe something from the sea has no

iodine....any ideas?

I got this from another chat group to answer you question:

" Yes it does. 8.76 ppm (parts per million). It also contains traces of

73 other minerals. "

I don't know if it's true

Nope you are fine. Iodine actually helps hashi's. It's deficiency and toxicity that causes it.
