Guest guest
bone, water, boil.....do not use the bullion to get extra taste, it contains the dreaded excito-toxin MSG. http://www.westonaprice.org/foodfeatures/broth.html > > I am eagerly awaiting my copy of NT can someone direct me to a link for > a recipe for bone broth. > > Dora > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
I also think it would be wise to know your source of bones. Organic animals could still be drinking fluoridated water which builds up significantly in bones. If you can find a source that uses unfluoridated water that would be great. Since fluoride is a cumulative toxin, using younger animal bones would be better, such as poulty, lamb, and veal bones. - > > > > I am eagerly awaiting my copy of NT can someone direct me to a link for > > a recipe for bone broth. > > > > Dora > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.5.516 / Virus Database: 269.19.20/1262 - Release Date: 2/6/2008 9:13 AM > > >

Guest guest
You know, I'm thinking if the bones were from animals that drank fluoridated water, they'd probably show the brown stains that fluoride causes, so maybe if the bones are white they're ok. Is anybody more knowledgable out there about this??? --- In , " gdawson6 " <gdawson6@...> wrote: > > I also think it would be wise to know your source of bones. Guest guest
Well I definitely wouldn't touch them if they were brown and mottled. But on a positive note, fluoride from bones would be already bound to Calcium, and calcium fluoride is very poorly absorbed (only around 2%). Anyone who is sensitive should still be wary in my opinion though, and I have done a lot of research on the subject. - -- In , " haecklers " <haecklers@...> wrote: > > You know, I'm thinking if the bones were from animals that drank > fluoridated water, they'd probably show the brown stains that > fluoride causes, so maybe if the bones are white they're ok. > > Is anybody more knowledgable out there about this??? Guest guest
I've never seen a chicken bone that didn't have brown on it. And I've read that the bits of bone meal from the mechanical separators that make things like chicken nuggets add a significant amount of fluoride to children's diets. Are the chicken nugget people wrong about the dangers of fluoride in chicken nuggets or is it there in other forms as well? (not that we'd advocate children eating chicken nuggets...) --- In , " gdawson6 " <gdawson6@...> wrote: > > Well I definitely wouldn't touch them if they were brown and mottled. > > But on a positive note, fluoride from bones would be already bound to > Calcium, and calcium fluoride is very poorly absorbed (only around > 2%). Guest guest
Does adding kelp (or anything else like potassium iodide) to the broth help prevent the absorbtion of flouride? Desh
