Lana,

I hope your move went smoothly and congrats on your pregnancy!

Have you contacted the nearest WAPF group? They might be able to tell

you about getting raw milk. That's how I found it in my area (Central

Texas) a couple of years ago. Looks like there are four groups in NC:

Thanks ! I didn't think to check the WAPF chapter list.

My move went pretty smoothly until I got down here - the place I was

supposed to live decided that dogs are not allowed... this is after I

had talked to them on the phone about it and put Jezebel on the rental

application! They were nice enough to offer the place to me on short

term lease, but with a 16 ft truck to unload (and the prospect of

repacking it and doing it all again) I decided to find somewhere else.

I ended up in a much nicer area with a 2 bedroom/2 bath instead of a

1 bedroom/1 bath. So all in all, it went better than expected despite

a little bump. :)

It also appears there is a WAPF chapter very local to me, which is

very good news (thanks for the suggestion!). I'm close to a Whole

Foods and the local Food Lion stocks a decent line of natural and

organic goods. All I gotta do is find a decent sushi place and I'm

set. Well, either that or find somewhere I can order frozen salmon

roe from, I've been craving it like nothing else! That reminds me,

I've been meaning to ask: has anyone had the dried salmon roe from

Live Super Foods? I was wondering if it is fishy tasting. I'm a bit

spoiled with fresh roe (it doesn't taste fishy at all) and I can not

tolerate fishy tasting roe at all. Bleh.

Thanks Again!

Lana,

i don't know where in NC you are, but in the Columbia area of SC, there

are several raw milk dairies both cow and goat. Also, check with your

local health food store, chiropractors etc because there may be a

cooperative near you that you could join. Good Luck :)
