Guest guest
Desh, I don't know if you drink, but I read recently when I was looking into betaine that when they make sugar from sugar beets, they use the beet molasses in making cheap wines because the yeast loves it. The betaine from the beets all goes into the wine so it may be a pretty good health drink. Betaine is a really cool compound for detoxing, the liver and preenting heart problems. Unfortunately I couldn't find a source for organic beet molasses. --- In , De Bell-Frantz <deshabell@...> wrote: > > Interesting. Guest guest
Well, We are working our way up to precisely that- a healing beer for our situation. Right now my recipe is chammomile and beet powder. Right now we're settling with apple beer with a touch of regular molasses. Desh
Guest guest
Have you seen Harrod Buhner's " Sacred and Herbal Healing Beers " ? Very neat book! Of course half the recipes contain no grains and use honey so the word " beer " is a stretch! --- In , De Bell-Frantz <deshabell@...> wrote: > > Well, > We are working our way up to precisely that- a healing beer for our > situation.
