Guest guest
Judy, In my opinion, why WOULDN'T diet affect your skin? In my recent experience (last summer) I used pure coconut oil as a lotion on my skin when going out to do gardening. Well, on the spots that I missed accidentally, I got some bad burns whereas the oiled-up skin was a golden tan. The funny thing is, I usually tan easily on my arms and face and nowhere else -- when I used the CO on my legs (which I thought were tan-resistant for the last decade!) I was finally able to get some color back on them! So if it works on the outside, it's likely to work from the inside, too. You may want to try this instead of any commercial sunscreens, especially if you do want to get some color.
Guest guest
Hi , I'll have to try that. For some reason I would have thought the coconut oil on you skin would react like the baby oil I used to put on when sunbathing as a kid, with a bad burn! But that is interesting that it acts as protection. It's very interesting stuff! Thanks, Judy > > Judy, > > In my opinion, why WOULDN'T diet affect your skin? > > In my recent experience (last summer) I used pure coconut oil as a lotion on my skin when going out to do gardening. Guest guest
Baby oil, which is just scented mineral oil, does not penetrate. It just sits on the skin. The only thing worse for penetrating than mineral oil is petroleum jelly. The coconut oil seems to really sink in! Kathy ---- Judy <frumpyhead@...> wrote: > Hi , > > I'll have to try that.
