in for Water

Kefir adn milk kefir?

I have been using FitDay for a week. Most of the time, the exact food I am

eating is not in

FitDay and I need to approximate. Other times, the description uses

food-industry jargon

(beef separable and lean, trimmed to 1/4 inch fat, what does that mean?) I am

unfamiliar

with.

What I do is approximate the best I can. For a few special foods I eat often, I

input the

data from the manufacturer as a custom food. For example, generic cod liver oil

is on

FitDay, but not high-vitamin fermented cod liver oil, which I take because of

its lower level

of processing. So I entered the nutritional value of the vitamins from the

bottle into FitDay

and guessed at the calorie content using the value for standard cod liver oil.

For grass fed beef, I just use the standard beef entries, which are probably

wrong for

grass fed animals, but it is better than nothing. Now, I have no idea about

what to do for

high-vitamin butter oil. It like using standard butter would be useless.

I don't consume kefir and have no suggestions on that beverage specifically.
