Guest guest
Friends, My wife and I have both came down with something very virulent. She had double ear infection and double pinkeye, plus congestion, etc... while I have had a fever between 102-104 (sometimes it would drop lower for a few hours) since Saturday. I am so sore I really want to bath, but didnt know if it was a good idea.
Guest guest
Sure, why not? Especially soothing is to put epsom salt in the tub and soak for 20 min or so - it is a good way to get magnesium in the body, which gets used up by the body quickly when you are stressed or tired. My daughter got an ear infection last year that caused a very high fever like yours. My son caught it from her. He took vitamin C and didn't get nearly as sick as she did - she laid on the sofa for days without eating and really lost a lot of weight. If you are worried about getting water in your ears and irritating them, you can use a hair dryer to blow them dry afterwards, or try that dry ear recipe using rubbing alcohol and I forget what else that is out on the internet. I find the steam from a long bath or shower to be very soothing to my sinuses when they are infected. > > Friends, > My wife and I have both came down with something very virulent. Guest guest
Add equal amounts of sea salt and baking soda to that epsom salt. I usually do 2/3 cup of each.
