I think it is not the best to leave the eggs on the porch for long now that it is warmer. Will likely wasn't home. Patti
Guest guest
Any nutritional benefits to duck eggs over chicken eggs, if both of them are raised in the same farm and graze the same land and same price. when we travel we have access to duck eggs, and just wondering if it worth falling over for? Thanks for any ideas -Dan.
Guest guest
Having both, I see the ducks eating a lot more grass than the chickens; so possibly the amount of vitamin K in duck eggs would be higher, maybe the vitamin A too, but it may be in the beta-carotene form anyways. But then the chickens eat more fungi and bugs, so that could have its benefits too (but maybe a large flock on pasture wouldn't get the same access to the fungi and bugs - competition - as a few that can spread out and dig around in the leaf mould in the woods. > > Any nutritional benefits to duck eggs over chicken eggs, if both of > them are raised in the same farm and graze the same land and same price. > > when we travel we have access to duck eggs, and just wondering if it > worth falling over for? > > Thanks for any ideas > -Dan. >
