Guest guest
Friends, I was wondering what are your most recommended websites/resources/etc... for someone who is pregnant, planning on getting pregnant. I know WAPF's is good and has lots of good articles, any others that have good helps, solid information, natural recommendations for dealing with " common " issues? Thanks,
Guest guest
www.blueribbonbaby.org Dr. Brewer's diet for pregnant women is very compatible with the WAP eating guidelines. I started following his plan in my second trimester (about 5 months along) and had enough energy to play soccer with the kids at church until I was 36 weeks pregnant. Granted, I " ran " very slowly. After 36 weeks, it was just too uncomfortable to run around.

I will plug my own forum here- www.tfrecipes.com/forum/. The focus of the board is traditional foods, we have many pregnant and nursing mamas, and forum areas specific to discussing those stages in life, as well as parenting. It's a new board, less than a month old, but it's off to a great start. But the scope of the board isn't just pregnancy and nursing, its focus is TF and anyone is welcome to join. www.kellymom.com for once she's nursing http://www.gentlebirth.org/archives/ The Midwife archives to look up information on anything imaginable from a non-OB perspective. " The Naturally Healthy Pregnancy " by Shonda for herbal/alternative treatment of just about anything in pregnancy. http://www.mothering.com/discussions/ Mothering magazine's discussion forum. Naturally slanted, but not necessarily TF. Covers just about anything she'd need. KerryAnn www.tfrecipes.com/forum/ - Traditional Foods Menu Mailer and NEW Forum!
