Cholesterol numbers

Actually, these drugs are worse than having high cholesterol! They cause

liver damage, neuropathy and a host of other potentially life-threatening

problems. And they keep changing the ideal numbers so that it is almost

impossible

to achieve cholesterol that is that low. Oh, and they forget that your body

and your brain NEED cholesterol to function properly. I wouldn't touch these

drugs with a ten foot pole. God only knows what they are really doing to you

once you ingest them

Hi guys,

My husband just had his bloodwork done and I'm confused by the numbers

in his lipid panel. It says cholesterol: 158, triglycerides: 78, HDL:

41 and LDL: 101. Shouldn't the LDL and HDL add up to the total

cholesterol number? If not, what's going on here?
