Guest guest Posted July 8, 2008 Report Share Posted July 8, 2008 I reuse the lids and I don't sterilize the jars, just wash them well. You can buy glass containers that are freezer safe. I would use those for freezing ice cream in. Pyrex makes some with plastic lids.
