Guest guest
with beef and bison i only eat 100%grass-fed. however, i justrealized that i occasionally buy BLACKWING Ostrich, too. i dont eat too often so im not really too worried about its longterm effects on my health but i DO wonder about their preferred diet. are they ruminants? should they naturally eat only grass, leaves, etc, with NO grain? can they thrive on some grain, too - like chickens? anyone with any info please advise. p.s. i think its easy to just think " oh, we need 100% grass-fed everything " because of the complete wrongness of grain-fed cattle, but i realize that animals are all different. i dont want to assume anything either way. thanks so much.
