Actually I think it is incredibly naive to rule out the possibility of this happening. I don't know if it's likely to come in a direct mandate like that, more likely they will continue trying to run them out of business, but it is not inconceivable that under the pretense of protecting against mad cow or avian flu or some such thing, they shut them down altogether as some emergency measure, especially since they are registering all animals in a national tracking database under NAIS. What happens when you register things? They get taken away. They have registered certain types of guns before, and then after everyone was registered, they banned them and instituted an effective recall because they had tabs on all of the law-abiding citizens who possessed them (though obviously they couldn't take them out of the hands of criminals who failed to register...). " I agree that restrictions and government takeover are scary ideas, but I think that it is necessary to realize where the push for these actions come from. Its corporate America, big agricultural lobbies that want to keep competition down, force processed food down our throats, and make billions of dollars off of us.
