Guest guest
There is a therapy cap resource center on the ATPA website. The resource center is open to all -not members only and on that site is a model letter for patients. Tom Howell, P.T., M.P.T. Howell Physical Therapy Eagle, ID howellpt@... Self-pay Fees after cap limit reached? Hello: Is anyone able to share how much they will charge clients who desire to continue with necessary therapy once their cap is reached? It doesn't seem quite 'right' to charge less for self-pay but then who can afford to pay $115.00/hour. If we charge less for self-pay aren't we telling Medicare that our services are worth less than what they pay? Also, is anyone able to share an example of a form letter opposing the cap that they given to patients to sign? Thanks, Ron C. Looking to start and own 100% of your own Practice?
