Did a rule go into affect with the cap legislation, Jan 1st 2006, that says PTAs

can not treat, Medicare part B patients, that walk into a clinic, for out

patient physical therapy (under the evaluation performed by a PT)? I am a PTA in

Washington state, and a PT told me Medicare will not reimburse for treatment

provided by a PTA to an out-patient whose insurance is Medicare part B.

Thank you E
