Guest guest
It is my understanding that Medicare does not pay for Driving evaluation. Medicare feels that driving is a leisure activity and therefore is not reimbursable. Our hospital charges $180.00 for a pre driving evaluations. If any of you are able to bill Medicare, please let me know how. Guest guest
I would have to concur with , Medicare has made it quite clear that they will not pay for any type of Driving Evaluations or Driver's training (I believe that there may be an exception with Georgia's fiscal intermediary). All of our evals and training are done on a cash basis with periodic reimbursement from some Auto, Workman's Comp and Michigan Rehab Services.
