Guest guest
My wife, who is also a PT, is contracted out by our company to " cover " several facilities for another organization that specializes in providing therapy services through contracts with many facilities. I believe that her contract may be considered 'PRN' so that she can be pulled into one of our own facilities when needed, but I am sure that we are reimbursed through an hourly rate.....at another one of our contracted facilities, our company is reimbursed at an hourly rate for all inpatient (acute care, swing bed, and nursing home)treatment time AND for any " down " time during the day (documentation or any other non-billable time in facility), and are reimbursed per unit of billable services provided in our on-site outpatient clinic. Hope this helps....if not, I can put you in contact with my administrator that deals with all the details of our contract work. THANKS Hill, PT Professional Therapy Services, Inc. 2170 South Lamar Oxford, MS 38655 Phone: Fax: contracted therapy services Hello Group Is anyone out there who is providing therapy services (PT,OT,ST) on a contractual basis to an SNF willing to share how they are paid for these services from the SNF? Is there a standard way to do this? We are paid by the SNF a percentage of the rehab. Rug. We are considering updating our contract and just wondered what others in this situation are doing. Guest guest
We charge the nursing home at am hourly rate. For NH that we travel to, we charge the hourly rate for drive time plus mileage reimbursement. As they want our time to be productive in their facility, they usually have paperwork, help, and the patients ready when we come. Feel free to email me directly if you have any further questions.
