Guest guest
Dear FORUJM, Thanks for this very comprehensive piece. " Q & A on India's revised AIDS estimates " Initially we used to have numbers (absolute) then we had very broad range and now, what? Do we have an absolute number or again a range? We, who work in the field, will have to tell something to the people in our awareness programs. So, will someone tell us what exactly are we to say (till we get revised updates scaled upwards or downwards)? Also about the report " This doctor knew about the numbers! " . Let there be no self congratulating, not even by UNAIDS. Epidemiology, like all others is a fluid science and if we get something new next year we all may fall flat on our faces. This is what we all have learnt over so many years. PRAYAS E-MAIL: <prayashealth@...>
