There's a lot of clinical research behind its effectiveness; you can read about it on the German manufacturer's website: http://www.ardeypharm.de/en/index.php? seite=publications As far as I know, there is only one pharmacy that is importing Mutaflor to the U.S.. It's called Uriel Pharmacy, and can be found here: http://www.urielpharmacy.com/ I believe you need a doctor's prescription, or perhaps an order from another health care professional such as an acupuncturist or chiropractor. Call up Uriel Pharmacy and find out. Chris
