Guest guest
I had gall bladder problems and sought acupuncture treatment. My acupuncturist kept wanting me to go for a sonogram and I blew her off. Her assistant explained to me that she would treat more much more aggressively if she knew that I didn't have stones. I had the sonogram and it showed no stones. Of course, the allopathic doctor wanted to follow up with one of those tests where you swallow a radio-active pill and see what happens. No thanks. For over 4 years, I've managed to keep my gall bladder by consuming a Chinese herb in the form of a pill called Lidan Pian from Plum Flower. I've seen it Whole Foods in the Dallas area, don't know where else it is available. Also, when I heard Sally Fallon speak, she said that Swedish Bitters helps gall bladder problems. I've noticed coconut oil does not bother my gall bladder. But, all the butter, cream, whole milk, goat's milk, lard, and lamb fat sure does :-) So glad I have my Lidan! Beets, beet kvass, rhubarb, chicken gizzards, and lime juice are also good for the gall bladder. Carrots and lemon juice are good for the liver. And a healthy liver leads to a healthy gall bladder. That generation believes in docs and their " cut, poison, burn " so deeply you can't get through to them. Did her doc talk to her about problems handling good fats after the surgery? I heard that people either have to eat low fat or take ox bile pills, because they can't squirt bile to handle good eating. Does she really want to turn into an old bent over lady real fast from low level malnutrition because she can't eat right after they take out body parts? Ooops I am thinking not like her generation.
