Guest guest Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 I had some friends in Costa Rica who said there were parasites there that would sometimes get in people's brains and cause problems - hard to get rid of, because you don't want a dead worm in your brain either. It came up because they had a scare with their daughter and really freaked but it turned out she had just gotten a scrape. All that to say she may want to see someone who specializes in tropical diseases/parasites just in case. Our MD's assume you DON'T have such things and the thought rarely crosses their minds. > > My nanny told me today that she gets persistent headaches.
