Clinical Research Training Fellowship Award in HIV/AIDS

Background

Y R Gaitonde Center for AIDS Research and Education (YRG CARE), Chennai in

partnership with Brown University , Rhode Island , USA proposes to award

clinical research training, aimed at enhancing AIDS research capacity in India .

Applications are invited from motivated and enthusiastic candidates, who are

residing in India and have planned to continue to take HIV clinical research as

a future career.

*Qualifications: *

The following criteria will be used in evaluating the merit of the

application and deciding on award of fellowship:

i. Candidate with MBBS degree with consistent academic records.

iii. revious clinical/research experience in the area of HIV/AIDS will

be preferred.

Duration:

Fellowship includes 4 weeks training in the USA and 12 months training at

YRGCARE, which offers medical and psychosocial care for over 10,000 persons

living with HIV (for more information visit www.yrgcare.org ).

Fellows will pre-agree to serve YRG CARE for at least next 2 years.

Selection Procedure:

The short-listed candidates will be invited for a personal interview on their

own expenses.
