do you have a dental school in your area?

we have one here in south texas, and I had a root canal done about 7-8 yrs ago.

I still need to get the crown as the same thing can happen to mine.

most dentists wanted $600 and up for a crown, but the school

does them for about $150.

I go out there for most of my dental treatments.

sp am planning on the crown this year.

they are so much better than private dentists

(I think because they are being watched closely and graded).

dental schools only charge for materials, nothing else.

private dentists can charge anything they want.

Crowns can be pretty toxic in themselves. The 'stainless steel'

crowns have quite a bit of nickel in them which is closely linked to

many cancers...and you are just holding together a dead tooth which

should not be in your mouth.

Weston A Price himself proved the toxicity of root canals by removing

them in diseased people and implanting them under the skin of a

rabbit. The rabbit would then contract the same disease that the

person had and it was all because of the root canal. Please read the

following link.

The dental industry is dangerous water to tread in and can really ruin

your life if you don't do your research. It can cost more to have

things done properly, but whats more important than health?

In your understanding, other than totally removing the teeth, are

there any other options that is not harmful on the long run.

If removing teeth is the only good option, is there any suggestion to

cope with chewing efficiently for life?

Thanks

I first read it in the following book by Hal Huggings " Uninformed

Consent : The Hidden Dangers in Dental Care " and I think there is a

type of implant that is an alternative if its a visible tooth in the

front, but I can't say that I remember more, but it is in that book.

If your only missing one or two teeth chewing shouldn't be that

affected, but I can't say for sure.

I hope it works out for you,
