Guest guest
I'm guessing that the statement that raw milk can last up to 5 weeks was a typo and should have said 5 days, not 5 weeks, even though raw milk can last longer than 5 days. I googled ultra-pasteurized milk and one site said it lasts 6 weeks. well, 6 weeks is not much longer than 5 weeks, which makes me think it's a typo. > > You learn something new everyday... raw milk can last up to 5 weeks refrigerated...pasturized milk longer... Carolyn, I get raw milk every two weeks and it has never gone sour in two weeks. Sometimes I have a little extra and it has gone about 16 days from when I received it before souring. I'm not sure how long the dairy farmer keeps it before it is delivered, but that is probably at least another day or two. I've been getting milk from this source for about a year and a half now, so it's very consistently good for at least two weeks.
