Guest guest
I'm visiting relatives in Florida (Boca/Deerfield area) next week and am trying to find meat/dairy sources. I know that raw milk is sold for pet consumption, and the local Whole Foods says they sell it, but I'm not sure what brands or if it tends to sell out. Would also like to find some organic, grassfed meats. Any recommendations appreciated. I should tell you that our trip to St. Louis went well. Since we were driving for that trip, we froze a few gallons of our cow share milk and that worked well. After we got tired of eating cheese and kippered snacks in our hotel, we found some good seafood restaurants, as well as a really great Irish pub and restaurant called the Dubliner. They had locally grown, organic lamb and pork (available together as a mixed grill with the best sausage I've had), mussels, lamb pasties, naturally raised hamburger, etc. Anyone that visits there should check it out. Best, Bill
Guest guest
There is a farmer I know who used to have his stuff delivered to the Miami area. His name is Dennis and you can reach him at thisisdennis@... He is a perfectionist when it comes to his cow's milk. The delivery fee was too steep for me plus his milk is pricey but absolutely worth it. Also Sea Breeze Organic Farm. Phone: (772) 489-7905 The raw cow's milk at Whole Foods is from Golden Fleece and it tasted so horrible and then later I found out they give the cows commercial feed. but I liked the goat's milk from them and use it for my kefir --- In , " lynchwt " <lynchwt@...> wrote: > > I'm visiting relatives in Florida (Boca/Deerfield area) next week and > am trying to find meat/dairy sources.
