Guest guest
Would anyone have a healthy jam recipe for wild black raspberries? We found some wild ones growing in our backyard, which we had missed till now(had not mowed that area for a while).. we may get a few quarts before the season is out.. Would appreciate any thoughts (other than the jam) to using the berries (they are not as easy to eat like blueberries, too many thick seeds). Regards -Dan. Guest guest
Dan, What a lucky find you have had! I like to press the berries and freeze the juice. I use the juice for syrup, mixed in with some organic maple syrup & butter, it's fantastic on pancakes and on oatmeal. HTH, Sal
