Guest guest
Hi, Have heard of plenty of moms giving birth to lots of children clear up into their 60's in Mexico, but surrogate grandmas carring their daughters egg, that is a different story. I wonder if these 60+ grandmothers giving birth to their daughter's egg were still premenopausal. I would assume there could be an incubation problem if the pregnant grandmothers were post menopausal? Yet on the other hand if a test tube baby were possible what would be the drawback of a postmenopausal second-hand grandma? Think of the benefits, post 60's surrogate moms would not be nearly as concerned with stretch marks etc. Still, I wonder about biological mother bonding genetically better with her own fertilized egg rather than a surrogate or a test tube of some sort? Guest guest
, > Have heard of plenty of moms giving birth to lots of children clear up into > their 60's in Mexico, Yeah I have read those stories too. In other places as well. Seems nutrition plays a huge role in determining how long a woman can maintain her fertility. What little study I have done on the topic seems to suggest that not only can a woman continue to produce new eggs but healthy new eggs if the right nutrition is provided right up until her body says it it time to stop. > Still, I wonder about biological mother bonding > genetically better with her own fertilized egg rather than a surrogate or a > test tube of some sort? What do you mean by " bonding genetically better? " -- " If you're not on somebody's watch list, you're not doing your job " - Dave Von Kleist Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it.
