Guest guest
Yes, in fact, I took mine with HCL and digestive enzymes. Plus, I bombarded myself with lots of probiotics. All of that together took care of my stomach acid issues. The Mastic gum gave me immediate relief. I just found a a good deal on vitacost.com My question is can this be taken in conjunction with betaine HCL and digestive enzymes.

Guest guest
It was capsules. They called it mastic gum though. I would go with the Swanson's if it was cheaper. I recall the mastic I bought was rather expensive. Nonetheless, it was definitely worth it. Having tried a bunch of supplements over the year for various reason, very few gave me immediate feedback. The mastic did give me some relief and quite quickly. Highly recommend it. I don't take it anymore because I don't need it now. Guest guest
I know you highly recommend it b/c you mentioned that book on stomach acid a while ago and I just got it from the library finally and of course it mentions mastic gum. It is a really interesting book and would seem like a great place to start if someone was feeling ill. With the gazillion things out there to grab one's attention regarding illness/healing I really buy into a lot of what is in that book for whatever reasons. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I just found a a good deal on vitacost.com > > My question is can this be taken in conjunction with betaine HCL and > > digestive enzymes. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Believe me, that book and it's contents (I am referring to 's Book, " Why Stomach Acid Is Good for You " ) was a godsend to me. I had been suffering from acid reflux and, out of desperation, went to a Kaiser doctor for relief. I did get relief.....for a while. Then, it came back, even stronger. At that point, I started doing research on my own. This book really saved me. I feel sorry for anyone who suffers from acid reflux, etc. I cannot speak for everyone, but the information in that book was what got me over it. I did not get 50 percent relief, but 100 percent relief. And in pretty short order. I think it only took a couple of weeks for me to be completely healed. - From: crayfishfeed <crayfishfeed@...> Subject: Re: Mastica question revised Date: Thursday, July 17, 2008, 2:48 PM I know you highly recommend it b/c you mentioned that book on stomach acid a while ago and I just got it from the library finally and of course it mentions mastic gum. Guest guest
That is truly incredible and yes I am referring to the same book. I hope it helps me too. I never really feel the acid coming up per se but I am always clearing my throat and my teeth are so sensitive to everything hot and cold and sugar b/c the enamel has eroded. I also burp a lot after every meal and I feel like an old person. I think I do have a hiatal hernia but the book doesn't seem to worried about that. Been to a chiropractor a few times about it but it didn't help. We'll see what happens with the mastic gum > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I just found a a good deal on vitacost.com > > > My question is can this be taken in conjunction with betaine HCL > and > > > digestive enzymes. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
