I eat a very high fat diet. Fatty pork, butter, and whole milk are

favorites of mine. I have eaten like that for at least 10 years.

Here are my most recent lab results from June with the normals off

to the side.

Cholesterol 138 <=299- mg/dL

Triglyceride 54 <=199- mg/dL

HDL 40 >=41- mg/dL L

LDL 87 mg/dL

LDL/HDL ratio 2.2

Cholesterol, non-HDL 98 mg/dL

My liver enzymes are normal showing no fatty liver.

All my other lab results are stellar normal except for my persistent

iron deficiency anemia. My ferritin level is still 4 after 8 weeks

of higher dose Fe supplements so I am going in for Iron infusions

next week.

discovered the truth about pork fat and now all of us on this list

who eat masses of fats including pork are going to just accept that

and cut it out of our diet?! dr. kwasniewski of the Optimal Diet

recommends the majority of the diet be from pork, and the fattiest

at that! unfortunately in this country it is a bit harder to come by

some of the products he recommends so i don't base my own personal

diet on pork, but i get as much in as i can and i try to implement

as many of his suggestions as i can. and i don't skimp! i eat a diet

of at least 80% fats and i am doing fantastic! i think you had

better keep on researching....
