What to do with fresh wool

Friends,

My wife just received three large bags of freshly sheared wool from a

small local farm. We know it needs cleaned, etc. before it can be

used.

We hope to make some pillows from it (she has organic cotton fabric

from near sea naturals for the cases), but wanted some input from

anyone who has experience using wool for such things, other ideas or

uses you have put it to, etc.

1. Any suggestions on cleaning?

2. Suggestions on uses, especially in kids toys, pillows, making a bed

from the wool, etc.

3. Suggestions on how to felt the wool to use as a liner for water

bottle covers and such uses.
