According to Lynne Cheney, Dick's wife, Obama and Cheney are 8th cousins!

Nevertheless, Obama will save us from Bush and co. Wall Street told

I really don't see why the fact that they're distantly related has

anything whatsoever to do with Obama's policies and the difference

between him and McCain. For all I know you could trace some sort of

arcane family connection between me and Hitler... though actually

Stalin would be more likely. Would anything like that actually mean

something to you?

(BTW, the cousins thing is old news; Obama has joked about how he

wished he found out he was related to someone cooler than Cheney.)
