: Safe Patient Handling in OR or Labor/Delivery

As an extension of our rehab dept's support of safe patient

handling practices within our hospital, I have been asked by our labor

and delivery area to provide setting specific recommendations for their

nursing and tech staff. They handle c-sections and deliveries, usually

involving patients who have epidurals and spinals. Would appreciate any

reference or resources re: safe patient handling in labor/delivery and

or surgery/OR. Thanks in advance for any info provided.
