_The Maker's Diet_ is essentially exactly that. The author, Jordan

Rubin, is actually a Messianic Jew but he follows the Old Testament

food laws and argues in favor of them from a health perspective.

However, it's more of a health book than a cookbook, unlike Nourishing

Traditions.
