How are other acute / inpatient rehab facilities billing for or

recuperating the expensive cost of Vital Stim electrodes for speech

therapy use?

This is relatively new for us & those electrodes are expensive.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

For medicare patients I don't believe that you are allowed to bill

separately for the electrodes. Yes, they are expensive. Our SLP's re-use

them as long as they are still adhering. Good skin prep can help to extend

their life.
