Guest guest
Personally I'm against buying gold and silver for environmental reasons after reading about the use of arsenic to dissolve the gold from the ore and the leaks and contaminations and deaths caused by modern mining. Put your faith in God or Mammon (accumulation of wealth)... I've been looking at Shane Claiborne's new DVD " Simply Enough " and think what really needs to happen is wanting less and trying to make it contagious. Supporting local farmers, honest, hard workers, etc. instead of the multinational corporations that we all know lack morals and integrity. Still, I don't think this disaster will happen overnight, more like the proverbial frog in the pot of water, it gets gradually warmer and the frog doesn't notice until it's cooked and too late then. How to prepare for a slow disaster that's a century in the making and slowly unfolding?? Stay wise and teach your kids well about what really matters and what is superfluous! Just my opinion! > > Have been following this thread with much interest - I have been trying to > convince husband to buy silver & gold since February.
