Guest guest
Even if the mold is dead there is a risk because I think it's like botulism - the toxin that is a byproduct of the mold is what makes it dangerous. I think there is a way to detect it tho, using a blacklight or something similar. --- In , " jilllliiii " <jillirobins@...> wrote: > > hi! > we eat alot of peanut butter around here (3 little kids!)and ive been > buying maranatha brand bc its tested free of mold but i would like make > my own with soaked/dryed nuts. i read somewhere recently that this > kills the mold. anyone have more info on this? is it true? > thanks, jill >
