Is it okay to take cod liver oil by itself? Or would it be better to

take at mealtime. If so, are there certain nutrients that help

absorption of the nutrients in the cod liver oil? Just wanted to do

this the best way possible.

In Eat Fat, Lose Fat, consuming CLO before breakfast is one of the key

components of the diet. I've been wondering why Sally and insist on

eating it on an empty stomach?

Thanks,

Kathy

this is from the Radiant Life website. their CLO is one of the brands

recommended by WAPF.

Price gave CLO with butter oil.

Some like to take the liquid with 3 oz. water, milk, or juice. Make sure to

include butter &

other saturated fats in your diet as they help the body to utilize the

unsaturated fatty acids

that predominate in cod liver oil.

This isn't very scientific, but if I don't take my CLO with a meal

(and preferably with some fat) I have fishy burps for hours. So gross.
