Don't do like I do and go overboard with too much food! LOL

Apples are nice in a car and you can throw the cores out the window.

If you have a recipe for beef jerkey, that's always welcome on road

trips too. Most store brands have MSG.

Also don't forget drinks - might I recommend Kleen Kanteen? It's a

stainless-steel sports bottle, costs around $15 on amazon.com.

They've specially sought out a steel that doesn't leech into the

drink. Much better than plastic water bottles (I'm doing something

on it for Earth Day - did you know Americans throw away 60 MILLION

plastic water bottles a DAY???)

If you worry about road fatigue, bee pollen is nice for keeping you

alert, better than coffee.

Have a wonderful time! I'm so happy for you!

driving about 8 hours each way with very little stopping. Our

friends are Atkins, but not NT or organic. The husband in teh other

couple does not believe organic even matters.

some Applegate Farms salami slices. I don't make the crispy nuts and

around here...they are $9 for about 8 ounces.

Too true! I was having a conversation on the guppies2 forum about

water problems killing fish and I'm about to think I should just stop

drinking! LOL!
