Guest guest
There are a lot of fungal skin problems that can just linger, too. Have you tried coconut oil on them? It works much better than any kind of balm, most of which do increase problems like chapped lips and only offer temporary relief. Another thing you could try, would be to put iodine on them (at night so it doesn't stain them) which could kill some infections. > > Hello, I have had this strange problem going on with my lips for > almost three months . Guest guest
Consider sunlight, it will dry up & eventually heal over any fungus among us. Guest guest
Sherie, It sounds like Riboflavin (B2) deficiency to me... Since you're taking B2 already, I'd suspect your hypothyroidism isn't being appropriately medicated. Hypothyroidism changes intestinal transit time and makes it difficult, if not impossible, to absorb adequate B2. My Mother, who has been hypothyroid for over 20 years was medicated solely with Synthroid and she had B2 deficiency symptoms in addition to adrenal fatigue. I finally talked her into switching to Armour, the natural thyroid medication, about 3 months ago and she has been feeling progressively better since. This is a great site for the whole undermedication issue: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ I'd also suggest the group NaturalThryroidHormones: NaturalThyroidHormones/ -Lana " There is nothing more useful than sun and salt. Guest guest
I love coconut oil, and I have been using it on my lips, face , hair, all over the body. And of course eating it too, its a favorite oil of mine. Oh, and I did try Lugol's iodine. sherie > > > > Hello, I have had this strange problem going on with my lips for > > almost three months .
