Not the answer. No benefit has been shown for women of any age. Did her doc mention the CoQ10 thing I wonder. You could search " statins women " at Dr. Eades' blog for the gory numbers. - Those are high numbers and I would be looking at changing my food habits. Probably sleep too for the stress. There are many ways but she would hafta wanna. But if she's the type to delegate responsibility for her health to her doc, and she thinks drugs are it, what can you do. Guest guest
Hi, In all due respect the drug she needs to be steered away from is the junk food itself until nutritional balance is obtained. Choleterol will not be an issue under a proper all water fast in the proper retreat. Also you might re-check the LDL, HDL, etc. before breakfast when the results will be less schewed by eating, over 300 is lethal for people over 70 years old. A repeat test after fasting may show better results & an all water fast of 7 days or more will bring even better results. Well done is better than well said..., Jim Igo From: haecklers <haecklers@...> Subject: GAH! Sister's cholesterol is 300 - LDL is 209! Date: Thursday, September 25, 2008, 1:45 PM The MD had her start drugs as if it were an emergency. She exercises a lot, is under stress often - mentally ill mother living with her and boyfriend dying of cancer. She eats too much junk. What do you think? I'd love to steer her away from the drugs but those numbers have her scared.
