Guest guest
I couldn't agree more with Cray Fish's comments. I personally think debate is a waste of a person's energies (and this is from a person who grew up with debaters). You might want to focus on more productive ways of convincing others. Like living by example, writing thought-provoking books and articles, designing posters with a twist, and so on. Debate is for entertainment purposes only and usually best in a bar with drunk people. The movie, Thank you for not smoking, illustrates this perfectly. Rent the film. BUT be careful you don't cultivate apathy because arguing is thus a waste of time. Instead, channel yourself to constructive areas as illustrated above. And don't be tricked by others into " trying to explain yourself " . You don't need to. btw, I love to read this forum....I'm a huge WAP fan over here... Deb in NC
