Guest guest
I don't know what y'all eat, but unless you're eating the wheat stalk, rice grass, the hooves and adrenals of the cows, and so on down the line then it does seem that you are not eating whole foods as the planet, or your chosen deity, made them. No proof of this assertion, but surely some primitive peoples at some time or another noticed that raw egg whites are not healthy, considering other things they noticed. Recall that the Aborigines Price studied knew to soak different nuts for different amounts of time, etc.- the point being that considering other highly developed food knowledge that 20th century 'primitives' possessed. . . how could other people across history not notice the different way that a raw egg white sits in the stomach? It is quite easy to crack an egg and let the white drip through the fingers. I can't see our ancestors only crunching them whole, like other species. Guest guest
I personally think having the cognitive ability to be picky and selective and only eat the certain parts of the food and also have the ability to develop the wisdom to prepare food to be optimally nourishing is the very thing that has given the humans the upper hand in evolutionary development, and it perpetuated as it got fine tuned and made us the species as we are today. Of course its a double edged sword and can also be used against us...such as finding out how to refine grains. So in terms of this discussion eating only the egg yolk could give us an upper hand and a boost...but I think many humans would have eaten the whites in the past because food isn't always abundant and it is a source of protein which may have been needed at times. But with an abundance of food, what shall you choose knowing that the whites can be detrimental to nutrition? It seems to me kinda like the choice of feeding the skim milk to the hogs and keeping the cream for yourself. - > > I don't know what y'all eat, but unless you're eating the wheat stalk, > rice grass, the hooves and adrenals of the cows, and so on down the line > then it does seem that you are not eating whole foods as the planet, or > your chosen deity, made them. > > No proof of this assertion, but surely some primitive peoples at some > time or another noticed that raw egg whites are not healthy, considering > other things they noticed. Guest guest
This may be a repeat... my previous post hasn't shown up... but here is the question... If the Chick eats the yolk...what happens to the white? If the chick eats it, I question how bad could it be? If not, than yolks only it is...... --- In , " gdawson6 " <gdawson6@...> wrote: > > I personally think having the cognitive ability to be picky and > selective and only eat the certain parts of the food and also have the > ability to develop the wisdom to prepare food to be optimally > nourishing is the very thing that has given the humans the upper hand > in evolutionary development, and it perpetuated as it got fine tuned > and made us the species as we are today. > > Of course its a double edged sword and can also be used against > us...such as finding out how to refine grains. > > So in terms of this discussion eating only the egg yolk could give us > an upper hand and a boost...but I think many humans would have eaten > the whites in the past because food isn't always abundant and it is a > source of protein which may have been needed at times. > > But with an abundance of food, what shall you choose knowing that the > whites can be detrimental to nutrition?
