Guest guest
I was wondering what the legal ramifications would be to waiving a co-payment as a " Professional Courtesy " . This would be on a non-medicare patient. At this site: http://www.ins.state.ny.us/ogco2001/rg010220.htm <I%20was%20wondering%20what%20the%20legal%20ramifications%20would%20be%2\ 0to%20waiving%20a%20co-payment%20as%20a%20> It seems to allow it. If they have an HMO I may need to notify them in writing though. Any one know of the spcifics for this in New York?
