Guest guest
Hmm. This is an abstract of an article published in June 2007. It doesn't sound like the bran is the only problem, but that growing rice in arsenic-contaminated soils (mostly from pesticides, sounds like) is the problem. I've often wondered about this, being from Mississippi...catfish ponds built in pesticide-laden soils, and " organic " crops grown in previously pesticided soils in California. http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1892142 Gray, Chandler, AZ
