rice and arsenic

Hmm. This is an abstract of an article published in June 2007. It doesn't

sound like the bran

is the only problem, but that growing rice in arsenic-contaminated soils (mostly

from

pesticides, sounds like) is the problem. I've often wondered about this, being

from

Mississippi...catfish ponds built in pesticide-laden soils, and " organic " crops

grown in

previously pesticided soils in California.
